GPF interest rate retained at 7.1% for the second quarter of 2026-27
जीपीएफ ब्याज दर दूसरी तिमाही के लिए 7.1 प्रतिशत पर बरकरार
The rate applies to all provident funds of Central Government employees including CPF and AISPF.

The Department of Economic Affairs has notified that the rate of interest on the General Provident Fund and other similar funds will remain 7.1% per annum for the quarter from 1 July to 30 September 2026.
The rate applies to the General Provident Fund, the Contributory Provident Fund, the All India Services Provident Fund, the State Railway Provident Fund and the Defence Services Provident Fund, among others.
This is the twenty-fourth consecutive quarter in which the rate has been held at 7.1%.

Subscribers are reminded that the annual GPF statement should be reconciled and any discrepancy reported to the Accounts Officer before 31 December.
